Am I the only one who thinks that reality shows have had their day now ? We’ve had to put up with the likes of “Love Island”, “Big Brother”, “I’m a celebrity” and others of the same type. I remember watching the first couple of “Big Brother” series but now the whole thing just gets [...]

New TV
Recently we bought a new TV. When we were looking for TV’s it was quite surprising to see widescreen CRT (“regular size”) TV’s shoved into the “bargain basement” corner of most electrical stores. It’s amazing how quickly technology moves on and now, in todays world, LCD is the TV of choice or – if you [...]
Fiddling..
I’ve been having a “fiddle” with the site and hopefully you should see some speed improvements across the board. Basically I’ve allocated more memory to the MySQL process which should make things a bit smoother…. touch wood. And now on with the M3100 review!
More gadget reviews
Yes, yes, I’m aware that I’ve already mentioned these video reviews here and here but they really are rather good indeed. You can get the full list of Dr Ashen’s video reviews here or his website here… OK, OK, that’s enough flattery.. First up on the review list today is the Gamestation – it’s a [...]
MP4 Video Player Review – Part 2
Yesterday I posted about this cheap MP4 player and have now found part two of the review. I absolutely love his writing style and humour. Top [...]
MixAlbum.com fails to start
Meet Ian Chamings. He recently braved the Dragons’ Den on BBC2 to get some cash for his rather excellent DJ software. Cheap MP4 Video players
eBay is always a great mixture of both crap and good products. I noticed quite a few MP4 players on eBay recently and I thought.. “Hmm.. that’d work well with that Neuros MP4 recorder I reviewed”. …and it should. However, the market is being flooded with MP4 players from China which would make any Apple [...]
Next Directory – The stuff is coming!
My earlier blog post detailed the problems we were having with the Next Directory. Well, it turned out that the very next day Emily received a phone call from a very nice lady at Next who sorted out the whole thing. On Tuesday we should have our new TV and table arriving here! Yay! Many [...]
Next Directory – When oh when will you deliver stuff?
This is perhaps a personal plea and I really shouldn’t abuse my position by posting this here.. but I will anyway. :) Regular readers of this insane blog may recall that we purchased a TV from Next. Now, on a daily basis Next are fine. You can walk in the shop, buy some clothes, buy [...]
YouBlogTube
Youtube is a weird and wonderful place. They must have bandwidth coming out of their highly successful bottoms to keep running. Anyhow, here’s a couple of videos I’ve spotted today. The first is called “Tesco Wars” and features the invasion of supermarkets. It’s done by Mr Wheatley who’s an incredibly talented chap by the looks [...]
