Sky TV price increase. Here’s the reason

Sky have just whack up the prices on their TV packages. If you’re a customer you’ll notice it increase from September 1st. Letters have been sent out which tell you how Sky are investing heavily in programming or some crap. I tell you why they’re putting the prices up shall I? Are you ready to find out why they need… Read more →

YouTube does it again

The Government want to censor the internet and it looks like they’re getting their way. However, YouTube continues to do whatever the shit they want. On the homepage is a link to the raw crash footage from the Spanish train disaster. I’m not logged in and, upon clicking, there’s no warnings (as there would be on the TV news) about… Read more →

Wah! They’ve blocked the internets

So, with our lovely Government about to turn the firewalls up to 11 (and block 65 MILLION WEBSITES BY DEFAULT unless you opt out), this is going to be happening a lot more. Some firewallsa are cleverer than others, but the EE one is luckily fairly simple.. Step one, try to go to thepiratebay.se.. Oh no. We can’t get there.… Read more →

A sharp fall in recorded crime

Yep, crime here in the UK is down despite the fact that we’ve got less police. The PM has jumped all over every TV channel to confidently state that the police can cut crime even with less staff. Errr….. Or, Mr Cameron, what it could be is that there’s less police to record crime.. perhaps? FFS! Read more →

Rail Minister using his government limo?

Another classic piece of utterly crap journalism from The Daily Fail, who write stories in a deliberately aggressive and angry way just to annoy the British public and get comments on their website. As for making all those cigarette packets plain, well that’s now on hold. It’s all because the Government are coming under pressure from their mate’s in big business. Another… Read more →

Ban school lunch boxes!!!

…says a report written by some people who are deeply involved in catering. Dear me. How much worse can this get? Every day there’s a news story that seems to confirm how truly terrible our Government are. Who thought it ess a good idea to commission these people to do a report on school lunches? Idiotic. What. The. Hell.

Not totally sure what’s going on here, but I love this advert and everything about it. I heartily endorse it. Please, PR people, send me lots of the stuff it advertises. Thanks… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpcO3WdrgsQ Read more →

Things to make you angry..

1.. We’re all getting taxed to heck and the current austerity measures are putting huge pressure on hard working people. 2.. Big companies are getting away with paying little or no tax. When the Government challenges them nothing is done because the loopholes are legal and, although not “fair”, completely OK to use. 3… MP’s, following the expenses scandal, have… Read more →
