The Republicans have been trying to hold the US Government to ransom about what’s commonly known as “Obamacare”.
It’s been sorted out now, in an 11th hour agreement, but it’ll only last for 3-4 months.
Now, I’ve had the need to visit A&E here in the UK three times in the last month with my son. Money is taken from my wage each month to pay for it. I’d rather that the money wasn’t taken, but then again I’d rather drive a Ferrari too.
All I’ll say is that 44 million Americans are unable to get health insurance. If you don’t have insurance and you visit the emergency room in America, it’ll cost the average person $1,200, which is £742.57 as of today.
