There’s some morning TV show called “Daybreak” here in the UK. It has a clock on it so you know whether you’re late for work / school etc. Anyhow, there’s a Twitter account too, but it looks like the account gets bombarded with utter idiots who constantly tell them that the on-screen clock is wrong. What is actually happening is that the viewers are watching the time-shifted ITV1+1 channel, and despite the fact it clearly says “ITV1+1″ in the top corner, people continue to complain… Dicks..

It looks like btjunkie.org have decided to go the way of the Dodo following the shutdown of well-known file sharing websites. What exactly prompted this we’re not sure, but it was a hugely popular torrent website which indexed a pile of illegal material. Perhaps they just got spooked.

I’ve had the VDSL modem replaced once already, but it seems that it still generated enough heat to cook an egg. Now BT have contracted out an company called “Kelly” to replace some 800,000 sweaty Huawei modems. Here’s my new one ..

Quidco sent me a mail saying that I could get Virgin Broadband for £5 a month for 3 months. Not bad..

Just £5 for the first three months. Sounds like a deal, and you get a whacking cashback… I think I’ll check it out, so .. just a few clicks onto the Virgin Media site and… am I missing something here? Doesn’t that say (lower left) “save £5 per month for the first 3 months”. Errmm.. that’s a bit different than just paying £5 a month. It’s actually £5 off the £28.50. Umm.. That’s false advertising isn’t it Quidco?
